Job Description

    Experience and Qualifications

    – At least 13 years of relevant business/system analysis experience preferably with a financial services firm and a minimum two years supervising staff in a project management or business analysis role

    – Graduation in Commerce/Economics or MBA (Finance) preferred.

    – Experience of working with 3rd party financial products

    – Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development)

    – Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment

    Essential Skills

    – A good understanding of the overall investment process and data needs of investment firms

    – Exposure/ Experience as business/system analysts

    – Thorough understanding of financial domain – Wrap platforms, retail investments, retirement savings etc.

    – Must have the ability to visualise data and identify patterns within and across subject areas

    – Must have the ability to understand and relate data lineage and its impact to investment process

    – Ability to understand a business process and translate it into data requirement

    – Must possess working knowledge of database technologies to query standard databases like Oracle, Sybase etc.

    – Must be an expert in using MS Office products like Visio and Excel

    Desirable Skills / Experience

    – Understanding of retail investment, wealth & portfolio administration, transfer agency etc.

    – Basic knowledge of technology, third party products and their usage within fund supermarkets and wraps. :
